Denver’s ABC affiliate, 7News in Colorado, reported that Jack Phillips, Christian owner of Masterpiece Cake shop in Lakewood, Colorado — who was ordered by the Colorado Civil Rights Commission to bake a cake for a same-sex wedding celebration — wants the Colorado Supreme Court to hear his case.
The two men, David Mullins and Charlie Craig were married in MA and wanted to mark the occasion in Colorado. They went to Phillips’ bakery to order a cake for their upcoming wedding reception. Phillips declined to make a cake because of his religious beliefs. Continue Reading
